Glitter is the Herpes of Arts and Crafts

The fact that this isn't about hockey is beyond me.

Anyhow, I haven't seen a lot of comedians live. In fact, in recent memory I can think of 4 headliners - Dave Chappelle, Demetri Martin, Bob Saget (pronounced săzhā), and Frank Caliendo (yikes). Nothing will top Chappelle. It was his first tour after his reflective vacation to Africa, he performed on his birthday, and Mos Def showed up unannounced and played a few songs.

That said, we saw Demetri Martin last weekend, and he didn't disappoint. He's become more recognizable since I last saw him live during his days "trendspotting," with his new show and upcoming lead role in Taking Woodstock. He has an uncanny ability to dissect the English language wittily, interact with the crowd, and blend old and new jokes together while composing music. Also, he pulls it off without sounding like this hackdouche:

I suggest you go see him perform. And then get some Julia's Empanadas.
